Greater Glory-Lazarus

Jesus knew Lazarus was on his deathbed.

Jesus knew that Mary and Martha would be upset, if He did not show up when they wanted HIm too

So, Jesus goes to Judea?.....where  others attempted to stone Him??

Jesus knew the disciples were terribly worried about His safety.

Jesus knew the danger possibility that awaited him there

Jesus knew that Martha would question and blame

Jesus knew that Mary would not even come out of the house

But Jesus knew the Father's Will

So, Jesus waited and revealed a much greater glory.

Jesus exemplified resurrection a miracle beyond the mental capacity of the disciples, the women, or even Lazarus

Jesus was obedient to the Father, restored the loved one of Mary and Martha, prepared the Disciples for a future encounter with the Sadducees, gave assurance to the Body of Christ to come and all the while brought Glory to His Name.

You see, Jesus knew that in the fulfillment of His Father's plan would satisfy the cares of those around Him  And better prepare them for the future.

Am I like Mary and Martha? Am I like one of the disciples?

Am I letting the satisfaction of my will supersede or cloud the Glory of God?
Have I forgotten the history of promises that He has made and always fulfilled.
For what reason, do I naturally assume that my way is always the best way?
Is God trying to show me a greater measure of who He is, but I am too feeble minded and selfish to see it?
I have known God as a Healer, Is He trying to show me that He is the RESURRECTION?
My God cannot be limited, even if I decide not to believe.

What is God trying to show us?
